Sunday, 27 September, may have been a little soggy, but our hearts were certainly sunny. Despite the rain, 15 wonderful children and 15 amazing adults from Biebobu Debbie Art House came together for our wall mural project, bringing along their raincoats, big smiles, and plenty of enthusiasm. A little rain was certainly not going to stop this creative crew.
While the clouds took their time clearing, our young artists got busy with crayons, paints, and paper around the courtyard and waiting area. Doodles, swirls, colourful drawings, and little masterpieces soon filled the space, turning a rainy morning into a lively art session.
Then, at around 9:30 a.m., it was finally time to begin painting the mural. With brushes in hand, the blank wall slowly came alive with colour. Children and parents painted side by side, sharing ideas, laughing together, and creating special memories along the way.
There may have been a little paint on faces and clothes by the end of the session, but that was all part of the fun. After all, sometimes the best memories are the ones that get a little messy.
A heartfelt thank you to the Biebobu Debbie Art House family for generously sharing your time, creativity, and love with us. Your presence brought so much joy to our centre, and your colourful contributions have made our wall, and our community, even more special.
