KDSF MELAKA RAYA COOKIES ACTIVITY & WDSD CELEBRATION

Students participated in a meaningful baking session where they learned to prepare the traditional Hari Raya cookie, Sarang Semut, with guidance from their teachers. The activity involved a variety of fine motor tasks that helped enhance their hand-eye coordination, concentration, and independence while encouraging teamwork and enjoyment throughout the baking process. The delicious cookies were proudly shared and enjoyed by everyone.

During the same month, the centre also commemorated World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) through a simple yet meaningful awareness activity. Students, teachers, and staff wore mismatched socks as a symbol of diversity and inclusion, helping to promote greater awareness, acceptance, and appreciation for individuals with Down syndrome.
