Building Brighter Futures: Our Sensory Room Installation Begins at KDSF-National Centre

Exciting progress is underway at the Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation – National Centre (KDSF-NC)!

On 17 March 2026, our sensory room took a major step towards becoming a reality as the team from Nozig Inclusive arrived to install our specialised sensory equipment. Carefully designed to support children with Down Syndrome, the sensory room will provide a safe, calming, and engaging environment where children can explore, regulate their emotions, improve focus, and develop essential sensory and motor skills.

From bubble tubes and sensory lighting to interactive sensory panels and tactile equipment, every installation brings us one step closer to creating a space that will enrich our Early Intervention Programme and better support the unique needs of our students.

This project would not have been possible without the generous support of Star Foundation through the Star Social Impact Grant (SSIG). Their contribution has enabled us to create meaningful learning environments that will positively impact the lives of children with Down Syndrome and their families.

A heartfelt thank you to Star Foundation for believing in our vision, and to Nozig Inclusive for their professionalism and dedication throughout the installation process.

We can’t wait to officially welcome our children into this wonderful new space and witness the positive impact it will have on their learning and development.
