Awareness begins with understanding, and understanding can inspire meaningful action.
Following two presentations by KDSF-NC at Sequoia International School to help students better understand Down syndrome, we were delighted to welcome 14 students and 2 teachers to paint our Celebrating the Beauty of Innocence mural on 18 October.
And their journey doesn’t stop there! On 30 October, the school will be hosting a Halloween Carnival to raise funds for KDSF-NC and support our Adopt-A-Wall project. ❤️
We are proud to be building this meaningful partnership with Sequoia International School — engaging the younger generation to embrace inclusion, raise awareness and make a positive contribution to society.
